FINANCING of NEW SCHOOL

The vision of Bartlett Learning Center, Inc. is to raise enough money to build a new replacement school for Clare Woods Academy. The proposed new school will cost between $10 million and $12 million dollars. The new school will be located on a parcel of land just east of the present school on property adjacent to the new Clare Oaks facilities in Bartlett. The land has been set aside by the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis and will be leased to Bartlett Learning Center, Inc.

In their strong belief that Clare Woods Academy must remain a valuable resource in the Chicago area, and in accordance with their vision for the school nearly 40 years ago, the Sisters have donated the first million dollars towards building the new school. Groups of dedicated parents, board, faculty and other volunteers have worked in short-term task forces, making plans for the Capital Campaign. Now that this Pre-Campaign work has concluded, a 12-18 month Capital Campaign is being launched to raise money needed for the new school.
