Every gift to Bartlett Learning Center, Inc. Capital Campaign for Clare Woods Academy is important and essential to reaching our $5 Million goal.  While your giving is a personal decision, there are many options you might consider for your contribution.

Cash: Gifts in the form of cash, check, bank debit and credit card will be accepted regardless of amount.

Pledges: A signed statement of intent, letter of commitment or pledge card allows you to plan ahead and extend your gift over a period of up to five years. A pledge may be started at any time.

Publicly Traded Securities (Stock): Outright gifts of appreciated stock will be gladly accepted by Bartlett Learning Center, Inc.

Real Property: Outright gifts of real property (land or buildings) will be accepted by the campaign upon approval by the Finance Committee/Board of Directors of Bartlett Learning Center, Inc. However, no gift of real property will be approved or accepted until Bartlett Learning Center, Inc. has obtained a professional environmental audit of the property and legal counsel has reviewed the audit.

Life Insurance: Outright irrevocable gifts of life insurance policies with a value that can be converted into cash within the five-year pledge period shall be accepted by the campaign upon approval by the Finance Committee/Board of Directors of Bartlett Learning Center, Inc.

Deferred/Life Income Gifts: Bequests and other revocable gifts will be counted and valued as of the time Bartlett Learning Center, Inc. receives a copy of the executed instrument (your will, revocable trust agreement or insurance policy beneficiary designation) which contains the gift provision, and your signed pledge to keep the gift provision in force.

In-Kind Gifts or Pro-bono Services: The donation or provision of professional services by an independent contractor to complete either a project specifically to be funded in this capital campaign or providing an outside service to help in the conduct of the campaign will be counted in the campaign with the review and approval of the President and the Finance Committee/ Board of Directors of Bartlett Learning Center, Inc.

Clare Woods Academy also offers several ways in which your gift can commemorate the life of a loved one or friend, or recognize your business or organization.
